Around 2,400 people were evacuated in total, and the fire is said to have cost over $25 million in damages and burned almost 8,000 acres. So far, the blaze has torched two unidentified structures. As of 9 a.m. today, a scan 5% of the blaze has been contained. According to Cal Fire, reports the <a href="http://www.santacruzsentinel.com/ci_13065064">Santa Cruz Sentinel</a>, "the blaze started [on Wednesday] near the Lehi Camp, a Mormon retreat at the top of Empire Grade, and the Lockheed Martin facility." </p>
