<p>Entrance fees to national parks will be waived this weekend, folks. (Yay!) In addition to free admission, according to the <a href="http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/outposts/2009/08/national-parks-free-admission.html">LA Times</a>, "many park partners, including area hotels and restaurants, will offer discounts and special promotions."</p>

So, why not check out one of  mother nature's treasures, especially if you haven't been to one before.
