This year's house is a $3M gorgeous Arts & Crafts style four-bedroom, three-and-a-half bath home in Noe Valley, with a self contained apartment.

The house's countless amenities, such as the views, back deck and hot tub, three upstairs balconies, and two kitchens would be a huge temptation to go with the house instead of the $1.5M, but as it's been noted numerous times, unless the winner is already well off or owns property they can sell, the property and gift taxes would land an average Joe in the poorhouse.

For those interested in entering, you have until April 2 to enter the first early bird drawing. You'll also be eligible for all of the subsequent drawings.

Last Chance to Enter to Win the San Francisco Dream House, Deadline Friday

Friday's the deadline for the last (Grand Prize) drawing of the San Fran...

misc

contest

raffle

Real Estate

sf dream house

ybca

Leanne Maxwell

Friday's the deadline for the last (Grand Prize) drawing of the San Francisco Dream House Raffle, which benefits Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. Buy a $150 ticket, and you could win a $2.4 million Dream House in the Sunset or $1.8 million in cash. Most people would be smart to take the cash, unless they can afford the huge taxes on the house. Or, if they already own a less dream-worthy house, they could sell it to pay the taxes, or something. Either way, your $150 benefits a great cause. The final, Grand Prize drawing takes place July 25.
