Though her political career now floats in the septic tank, that didn't stop one San Franciscan from showing his support for disgraced former vice-presidential candidate and reality TV star Sarah Palin. After these (questionable?) anti-Palin poster appeared in Hayes Valley in January, which were in response to the assassination attempt of Rep. Gabrielle Gifford in Arizona, a Palin fanboy defended the Alaskan native with these posters put up over the weekend..

The culprit? Someone called "Palinpatriot," who explains his actions to Hillbuzz thusly:

I just got back from doing something have been thinking about for two weeks. Right after the shooting of Gabby Giffords someone in San Francisco plastered some posters of Sarah Palin on a wall on a street where there is a really strong extreme left pocket of people/shops, etc. Ok, most of San Francisco is extreme left, but this street is known as a hotbed of real extreme activism.

Though touched upon in yesterday's Day Around the Bay, we thought we'd share it with you in a separate post since it's a peek inside the heart of the former VP candidate cum proverbial whore for the blind far-right, Sarah Palin, and some of her not-so-merry band of Tea Party members. See, after daring to raise questions about a questionable speaking engagement by Palin scheduled for June at California State University Stanislaus, Senator Leland Yee, according to KTVU, "says he has received death threats in recent days, along with racist hate messages about President Obama and homophobic hate messages, apparently because he represents San Francisco."

While negative messages are nothing new to Yee or any elected official, the volume of bile from these American ilk seems to have increased tenfold as of late. "In the 8 years I've been in the capital, I've not seen, at least directed at me, this amount of hate and what's surprising to me is how open people are about those messages," said Yee.

Brian Leubitz of Calitics posted a few samples of the messages Yee came across since questioning the former VP's impending appearance. Behold this faxed message:

To: JoBama Rectum Sniffer Fish Head Leland Yee"... "WERE YOU TO EXTRACT YOUR HEAD FROM TREASONOUS MARXIST NIGGER HUSSEIN OBAMA'S RECTUM, YOUR BRAIN WOULD STILL FUNCTION AT ITS PRESENT MUCH DIMINISHED LEVEL BUT AT LEAST THE NIGGER SHIT SMELL WOULD EVENTUALLY DISSIPATE.

Yee went on to share this voicemail:

Hinting at further signs of her own developmental disability, Gov. Sarah Palin criticized ultra liberal SF Chronicle of hiding an interview with Barack Obama in which the President elect (why not?) discussed his platform's energy policy -- a policy that would, allegedly, bankrupt the coal industry.

It seems Palin asked a crowd at an Ohio rally on Sunday why this interview was just now surfacing. What's more, the Republican National Committee "sent out blog reports" about this videotaped interview, supposedly silenced by the fat cats over at the Chronicle.

However, it turns out the interview in question was published and promoted on SFGate back in January. So... yeah, so much for that "all of them" declaration. (SFGate)

At least he is in this elaborate, spooktacular, very San Francisco Halloween display, found outside a Glen Park home. Curious, yes? But we think they should have added pantyhose to Palin's legs -- you know, to go with the strappy, open-toed shoes. Because you know she would wear them together.

All of them! All! All! All! Of! Them! The Modesto Bee, The Hartford Courant, The Louisville Courier-Journal, The Vassar Pioneer Times, Teen People, Tiger Beat, Paris Match, High Times, Destination Qatar -- ALL OF THEM!

All of them. We just can't stop repeating that line to ourselves. All of them! It's as nonsensical a response to the question as it would be to "can I interest you in any appetizers," or "which came first, the chicken or the egg," or "knock knock."

All of them! So, readers, we'd like to ask you: of all the Sarah Palin interviews so far, which has been your favorite? We hope you know the correct answer to that, and all, questions from now on.

Sarah Palin -- who, let's face it, governs some useless mass of land in Canada -- thinks she's more qualified than God to help run the US. According to Ralph Nader, she's isn't, and even his running mate, Matt Gonzalez, has more skills than Palin. He says:

[VP candidate] Matt Gonzalez has more experience than Sarah Palin ...San Francisco is a lot bigger than Wasilla.

Nice one, Ralph.

That said, and we hate to have to point this out, Gonzalez never ran the city of San Francisco. Yeah. (Oh oh, dd Matt fudge his resume? Like, "Responsibilities: oversaw 30,000 city employees. Managed annual budget of over $5 billion. Charmed the panties off of 776,733 residents." Because: he did none of those things as city supe.)
