Not to be outdone by their wicked step-sister, UCLA, who all too tastefully/boringly galloped about in their panties on the streets of LA, UC Berkeley also had its traditional end-of-semester streak last week. But they did it in the raw. Hee.

The Daily Clog's Christine Borden captured the free-spirited perversity on film. And then had it taken down by the mustache-twirling puritans over at by YouTube. (!) It seems that last week's footage was too hot for the Internets -- which may be why media whorish UCLA students left on their delicates. Ingenious! (The clip above is of last semester's streak, which for some reason remains on YouTube to this day, corrupting minors across this great nation of ours.)

Locked Out in the City: What to Do?

We lucked out this time, but it got us thinking, What would we do if there is a next time we find ourselves out of our abode with no keys, [update] no money, no phone, no coat, and a few hours to kill until someone showed up to rescue our sorry butts?

Our boring list is below, in order of plausibility. We're hoping some people out there might have better suggestions.

1. Head to the library or the nearest bookstore and read for a few hours.
2. Wander around the city aimlessly -- last night was somewhat bearable without a coat.
3. Window shop/people watch at the mall. Union Square would be good this time of year.
4. Find some art openings. First Thursdays would be the ideal time to get locked out -- you'll be set!
5. Pretend you're a student and crash a lecture.
6. Stand in the aisles of Blockbuster or Hollywood Video and watch whatever movie's playing all night, which would really creep them out.
7. Sneak onto Muni and ride around for a few hours.
8. Hang out at a bar and act slutty in order to get drinks bought for you.
9. Find some pennies and make a peace sign on the sidewalk.
10. Find a cardboard box and take a nap, or do some breakdancing if you can't sleep.

Haight, Homeless, and Dogs...Continued!

What would Animal Control do in that situation, where a homeless kid owner
lets his dog bite someone?

There are a few ways that this situation could work itself out, depending on the parties involved. The person who was bitten could have called us and reported the bite - then requested a 'Vicious & Dangerous Dog Hearing'. These hearings happen every Thursday at City Hall, and are basically 'doggy court'. We would have picked up the dog and held it in our custody at the shelter until the hearing.

Speaking of Joan Van Ark, what on earth? Oh honestly. What happened to her visage? The former "Knots Landing" thespian and awkwardly spinning "Night of a 100 Stars" model has unveiled a new, um, model of her face. Well then.

Whatever. Her body, her choice, right? People should be allowed to do whatever the hell they want to their bodies, even if it's done in the name of vanity.

But still -- yikes.

The Pursuit of a Credyt

We picked up on this over at All Shook Down today. It seems that a San Francisco convenience store cashier (or practical-knee slapper actor) received neither credit nor pay for his appearance in Will Smith's Oscar-baiting tear jerker The Pursuit of Happyness (2006). In this Daily Show segment ripoff, he goes into detail about being chewed up by the big, bad Hollywood machine.

Also, anyone forced to appear in a scene with Mr. Smith's hyper-precocious offspring -- who wants to star in a remake of The Karate Kid, God help us all -- deserves some sort of compensation for his time, right?
