In the Top Model Lair, Marvita confessed that she can't stay in relationships for long, and doesn't do the whole kissing and holding hands thing. She realizes it has a lot to do with her past molestation and rape, of course, so if she doesn't want to hold hands and make-out, who can blame her?

The Tyra Crawl said something about "3 C's," so the chicks headed out to a warehouse and were met by Benny Ninja, the "posing instructor." He was accompanied by supermodel Vendela, and they learned that the three C's of posing are commercial, cat walk, and couture. And also catalog, which really makes it four C's. One would think that commercial and catalog would be the same thing, but they kept making the models pose as if it were different, so who the hell knows. Marvita looked like she was posing for an ad about stomach cramps.

SFist Watches: Your Locals On Reality TV, Pt. 1

This week's Reality TV Locals round-up will be presented in two parts for your reading enjoyment.
The Tyra scrawl crawl told the girls to "turn up the heat or they'll get hosed." So they went to a firehouse where Miss J. told them to get dressed quick like bunnies into sexy firefighter outfits so some sexy firefighters could judge their walks. WHAT?! Marvita has issues with not moving her arms, kinda like the character Molly Shannon played on "Seinfeld." Fatima's walk was atrocious. And Amis skipped. NO idea why any of that had to happen in a firehouse.

Back at the house Marvita got mad at Amy because Amy doesn't like showering in front of other people, and thus prefers her bathroom time to be alone time. And somehow this led to Fatima yelling at Whitney. THESE WOMEN MAKE NO SENSE.

SFist Watches: Your Locals On Reality TV

Let's start with "Project Runway," even though the buzz has died down by now, and it really wasn't a surprising ending at all. Because he didn't use much color (mainly black and browns) some of the pieces just blended into the next, and it was hard to see the details. But his ending gowns, especially the one made of feathers, were stunning.

Rami had some stunners in his collection as well, one of which was the black gown he showed last week. Alas, he kept those horrible round panels on the sides of the gown, which almost ruined it. The dress with the interwoven top was amazing, but his color choices were questionable, and the judges agreed. Also, some of his dresses looked a little dowdy.

SFist Watches: Your Locals On Reality TV

Let's check in on local girl Marvita, and her quest to become "Ame...

misc

America

america's next top model

chris march

marvita

New York

Next Top Model

Project Runway

project runway season 4

Times Square

Top Model

Rain Jokinen

Let's check in on local girl Marvita, and her quest to become "America's Next Top Model." After arriving in New York, the girls moved into their loft, which, while nice, wasn't exactly posh, what with the bunk beds in one room, and one giant bed in another. Regardless, it was a step up for Marvita, who talked about being homeless, without parents, at the age of 18. Also in the loft: No smoking! And an inspirational quote from Cycle 1 model Robin!?

Their first challenge was a runway show in the middle of Times Square, and Marvita was the first girl down the catwalk. Alas, she kept her head down for most of it, and Miss J. was not pleased. Fatima also accidentally slapped Marvita in the face, and Marvita was not pleased, to say the least. Later Fatima told Marvita she has a squished-up face. We have sympathy for Fatima and all, but man. She really has some bad manners. Marvita finally told her she just needs to drop her guard and try to be nice. We'll see if the advice sticks.

SFist Watches: Your Locals On Reality TV

We're starting with "Survivor: Micronesia - Fans vs. Favorites" again this week because it was a heart breaker.

Arts & Entertainment

america's next top model

chris march

Fans

marvita

Project Runway

project runway season 4

Survivor

this week

yau-man

Rain Jokinen

Things weren't looking good for Yau-Man from the beginning of the episode when his teammates started discussing his elimination before they had even had an immunity challenge. So, when they did finally make it to the immunity challenge, and his team lost, he was basically doomed.
