Behold Britney's Lackluster GMA Performance

Britney Spear's much-ballyhooed San Francisco mini-concert, filmed at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium on Sunday, aired today on Good Morning America and landed with a resounding meh. " I've seen her use more energy when walking to the car with a Venti Frapp in her hand," notes Michael K of DListed. Behold:

Before you complain about her lip-syching, Spears is famous for mouthing to the music, and doing it well. Here, however, she seems a tad sleepy.

Her ho-hum performance aside, her latest album, Femme Fatale, which dropped (as the kids say) today, has garnered decent reviews.

While we wait for Britney to take the stage, local drag queens take the stage, with Heklina in the center, so that makes her the alpha-female, to ask the audience trivia questions about Britney.

Also, we're getting word that, after this morning's concert at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, Britney will head to the Castro to make three stops including QBar (456 Castro). You've been warned.

Britney Watch: Queue Outside Bill Graham Civic Auditorium

People are already lined up outside Bill Graham Civic Auditorium to catch Britney Spears' free mini-concert for Good Morning America. Although she was supposed to perform in the Castro, Spears changed locations due to concerns over the weather. People are already lined up outside the theater to catch the pop singer in action, some of them since late last night. Behold:

Before Spears takes the stage, noted San Francisco drag queens Heklina, Juanita More, Donna Sachet, Sister Roma, and Pollo Del Mar will welcome her to the stage. This is part of Spears effort to reclaim (?) her gay following.

Tickets for Britney's San Francisco Concert Gobbled Up in Seconds

Well, that was fast. Guess we won't be seeing Britney this Sunday at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium. After the damaged pop unicorn moved her concert from the Castro to the Civic Center, tickets were required to see her Sunday performance for Good Morning America. However, just minutes after going live this morning, free tickets were snapped up right-quick.

Some people have told us they tried getting tickets at 8:58 a.m., but failed. Tickets for her show were supposed to be available at 9 a.m.

Still want to see her? Check out Craigslist where tickets are going anywhere from $150-$300. Boo.

Britney's Concert Now On Media Blackout: No WiFi, No Cell Service

If you were planning to tweet from Britney's concert at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, you've got another thing coming. Although the facility has WiFi, it will not be open to the public, according to a venue representative we just spoke with.

And don't expect to get anywhere with your magical and revolutionary cellular devices: when we asked the rep how cellphone coverage was in the building, he said, "pretty horrendous."

On the plus side, he added, because it's so good at blocking cellphone waves, the building can also withstand nuclear fallout from atomic weaponry. So, high-fives all around.

We're told there are payphones in the vicinity, so if you absolutely must tweet on your Foursquares and blog on your Facebooks, you can bring a handful of change and use Google's "Speak to Tweet" by calling 650-419-4196. It'll be good to see someone FINALLY putting that service to good use.

Britney Spears Castro Concert Details

The Examiner has more details about Britney Spears' Castro concert for Good Morning America. "The 400 and 500 blocks of Castro Street between Market and 19th streets will be closed starting just before midnight on March 26 until about 4 or 5 p.m. on March 27, said [Scott] Wiener, whose district includes the Castro neighborhood. The actual one-hour performance is slated to begin at noon. The piece is set to air on GMA the following Tuesday, March 29."

The 24 and 33 lines will be rerouted. The F line might also be affected by Spears' monstrous presence. ABC, by the way, will be paying for crowd control and cleanup.

Looking to reclaim her position as the world's top blond pop star, Britney's move in the Castro will, hopefully, get the attention of her gay fans. "It’s a calculated move on Britney’s part to come down and sort of 'reclaim my gays,' " said Heklina, noted Trannyshack founder.

Although only a select few will be allowed to see the show live - fingers crossed! - themed club nights and rooftop parties will help cheer Britney's return to the spotlight.

Heartbroken about missing the Britney Spears show in Oakland last night? Chin up. Because the only thing you missed was the tramp-y attire on the mob of tweens, teens, and grown women in honor of their favorite, busted-up idol.

Fan fashion aside, the Circus Tour lacked one important thing: Britney. On the rare occasions Spears took the stage, the bulk of her time was spent walking really fast or walking really slow. Every now and then, though, she'd pause to swish her hips back and forth or gyrate against something. Throw in dramatic hair whipping, and that's pretty much the show. Sad.

When she wasn't on stage -- which was around 75 percent of the time -- crowds were entertained by the large volume of circus performers Brit hired to kill time while she changed from one sparkly bra and pantie set to the next. (If you can't give fans their favorite star, a magician pulling scarves out of his pocket wasn't a good substitute.)
