Dan Noyes goes on to say that Ward "could be sent to the minimum security prison in Lompoc, as he requested when he was convicted."

That's it. Former KGO radio host Bernie Ward gets seven years and three months in the clink for sending child pornography over the Internets. A former Roman Catholic, Ward sent images where "children depicted were as young as 2 or 3 and were subjected to the most horrific torment of their lives," according to CBS 5. Ward initially claimed that his child pornography culling was all part of research for some book, but "the influence of alcohol" has gotten in the way. (What?) The disgraced radio personality will also "participate in an alcohol abuse recovery program."

The woman who sent KGO radio host Bernie Ward's career and reputation into freefall is thirty-three-year-old mother of three Linda Figueiredo. She also goes by the online moniker "Sexfairy," or more intimately, "Mistress". Ward and Figueiredo developed an online relationship in 2004, which hit a pocket of turbulence after Ward sent his "Mistress" some juicy yet hardly-legal child pornography. His attorneys have said Ward was doing research for a book at the time." Hmm.
