About 100 truly dedicated (and probably still intoxicated) fans gathered outside AT&T Park at 4:45 this morning to watch the Giants' buses roll in from the airport after their chartered flight home from Kansas City. As KRON 4 reports, they got a CHP escort from SFO after their plane landed around 4 a.m. (A tweet went out to fans about the plane landing, and obviously news spread fast among those still awake, and partying.)

As you can see in ABC 7's video above, a few team members like Hunter Pence waved to fans — and Hunter did pose for one photo with the CHP officers — but that was it. Everyone was tired.

Giants CEO Larry Baer gave a brief talk with the assembled press, showing off the World Series trophy, and saying that everyone aboard the plane last night was in "an altered state of happiness and euphoria."

Below, KRON 4's coverage of the return.

The victory parade, as you've probably heard, is set for Friday.
