We spend a considerable amount of our time pondering Gavin's every move. Some would say an unhealthy amount. But we're totally in the dark about his recent trip to Manila. Since we can't get any details of his itinerary from the Mayor's Office (what do we pay them for, anyway?), we decided to come up with a list of Gavin's schedule of appearances:
8:00am The President's mansion to pick up a pair of Imelda Marcos' shoes for Jennifer.
8:35am A sit-down interview with notorious gay blogger Bryanboy about same-sex marriage.
10:00am US Naval base to fraternize with the local working girls. ("Wanna see my key to the city?")
12:30pm Hitting up Jolibee, the local fast-food chain with his 138-piece entourage. Play on, playa!
2:00pm Taping an appearance as guest judge on Philippine Idol.
4:00pm Conference with President Arroyo on Third World Hunger.
4:45pm End Third World Hunger. Take that, Chris Daly!

This is so incredibly hilarious. I have to admit, I was convinced this was a real schedule. Any chance of picking up some adobo for model Mountz?
Who is Elaine? I want more!
I don't want more Elaine... I want more Bryanboy!
Wow. That dude is the most hilarious thing I've seen in the longest time!
Where's the tie?
this is gold. blog on playgirl
why did he have to go all the way to Manila for adobo? he coulda have had it here in SF, and lumpia, too.
Newsom should adopt B-boi!
Oh, please. Elaine completely copied the idea from Beth Spotswood (http://bethspotswood.blogspot.com). Spotswood has been creating faux Gavin schedules for about two years. It's called plagiarism, Elaine.
err ive never seen the faux Gavin schedules... or even heard of that other blog. She probably hasn't either...I think this is funny though.....gav should bring back BBoy to take over supervisor.
It becomes plagiarism IF she copies it word per word. But she did not, unlike the Opal Mehta author. Fun post. Keep on writing.
Check out the definition of plagiarism on dictionary.com (stress on thoughts)
the unauthorized use or close imitation of the language and thoughts of another author and the representation of them as one's own original work.
Unless Counselor Troi is reading SFist, it's going to be hard to determine correlation between Elaine's thoughts and Emily's.
oh please Emi- err C.M. , I almost almost accuse you of plagarism of Scrooge's attitude....err you know..if he wrote stuff.
